There is so much to Cottonwood--more than first meets the eye (!) so to speak. I have always been attracted to the building at 747 N Main (just before the old town strip) in Cottonwood.. I've driven by for years and finally stopped this past 2nd Saturday. Met the owner Robert Michael and he showed us around the gallery. First off, the building is wonderful and of course has a history. Alexis and I enjoyed the local artist's pieces ranging as far away as the Smithsonian. Wonderful and complex (and simple at the same time), the ceramic pieces are worthy of your attention. In fact, on that particular 2nd Saturday, met another local artist (another gallery) who had a large commercial installation at Biltmore in Phoenix. Love N. Arizona!
