Though I moved to southern Arizona 10 years ago, from the early 1970's to 1999 I had my hair cut at Metro. Sophie, the owner, is not only a brilliant hair stylist for men, she is a highly-regarded by women as well. Her business has survived through thick and thin because it's a high-quality local business. Only a few can say that. I have another good friend who has been a customer of hers for as long as I have and he has even traveled from Alaska to get his hair cut by Sophie. He beat me. I have only traveled from California for a hair cut when I lived there for a year. That's how much we like Metro.
