AUB is essentially split into two halves - one side, specializes in "conventional" literature, which exceptional prices. They go out of their way to order reprints and compilations in order to get the best deals.
Overall just a charming and fun store. I find myself walking out with something every time I visit, whether I planned to or not.
A pretty limited selection. Unless you like the occult. They have a lot of occult books.

The other half is... different. The "World Headquarters" of Adventures Unlimited Press, it can best be described as an "alternative" bookstore, specializing in subjects such as cryptozoology, fringe science, alternative history, conspiracy theories, secret societies (Knights Templar, Freemasonry, etc.) and so on. The breadth of subject matter is truly impressive, if you're into that kind of things. The only downside of AUP is the quality of the books tends to vary wildly, all while skewing expensive.
