+JMJ...Have visited only once because I was looking for one particular item, turtle neck with long sleeves and thumb holes, but they didn't sell them. The store is nice, tidy and had attractive, fashionable clothing, but not what I was looking for. Also, found the sales staff to be very helpful. She was even kind enough to suggest where I might be able to find what I was looking for. That type of customer service is sort of rare.
The only place I can get big and tall clothing selection.
They do seem to have pretty decent items and deals, but the last time I was in there I couldn't even get waited on. The chick in the lingerie section was so busy having a personal conversation with another lady she didn't even notice I was there... Like, a super LONG conversation.... Blah, blah, blah. I stood there for a long time and she didn't even ever wants give me any eye contact or say a word to me.
I did try on a few things and the dressing rooms were so horrible. I moved from one clear to another side of the store. The mirror was completely ripped off the wall in the one that I went in, and I wish I would have thought to take a picture. I am adding pictures of the other dressing room, which was an improvement over the first one.
This used to be a pretty nice place. It's now run down and the staff isn't so helpful. I guess over time the new just wears off and nobody seems to care anymore.
Although tiny it offers many great options like the "store pickup feature" when you've bought online with Free Freight. Prices are very reasonable and many name brands are found in most departments as well as their house brands. Comfortable to shop in and friendly staff to assist you.
I have lived in cottonwood for 31 years. Jc penny has always been our go to store for good quality shoes. I was so disappointed shopping today. They were not busy. I found a shoe I liked but there was only one size. I looked for someone to help me for 20 minutes and nobody was there. At one point a gentlemen walked next to me in a red shirt I thought might work there. I said "I can not find an associate to help me" he keeps walking so I figure he does not work here. I give up and leave. When I walk past the front register that same gentleman is the cashier that said nothing. I guess I will just drive to Prescott
I walked around and lollygagged around for a long time and finally I just gave up.
