I called to have my persciption filled. I was told the doctor was on vacation and I wouldn't be able to get it filled until she came back..running out of any kind meds for anyone can be serious. Then a couple of days later I get a call from the nurse saying they are evaluating people prescribed the medication I'm taking. That's fine, I can understand it's a controlled substance. They never called and asked if I wanted to take the alternative medication instead. In the meantime I'm struggling at work and home. This is my reality! I have a job and a family. Please VVGC we are not cattle that you just ship in and ship out. When the nurse called me a consumer and not a patient..RED FLAG!! I told her I wouldn't be back.
NEVER GO TO THE VERDE VALLEY GUIDANCE CLINIC!! They will lie to your face, and are not responsible. A friend went there on on psychiatrists recommendation, because he was feeling depressed about being unemployed and in debt. They forced him to go to the hospital under threat of arrest, after telling him at the start of the interview that it would be voluntary if he did chose to go. (said he was a danger to himself) The hospital discharged him and said there was no reason he should have gone there. Now on top of being broke and in debt, he has $4,000 medical bills coming in. He called the guidance clinic and they told him they didn't care.
