Bottom line: If you are visiting Sedona and want an inexpensive location 15 minutes away, this is perfect. Gotta love the doofuses who whine and cry ... Good Grief, it's not the Ritz-Carlton. It's a clean room and a bed on a property managed by good, friendly people.
This place is in bad shape. Everything is dated. Worst of all the 2nd floor is wood framed and the plywood squeeks and groans everywhere. Commercial building are usually constructed of cast-in-place concrete. The pool and hot tub are 25' from the main road so good luck trying to relax there.
I enjoyed the hot tub after a hike in the mountains. Comfortable beds but I prefer extra pillows in the room.
The walls are extremely thin. We had guests on either side of us and you could hear everything, including some things you just don't want to hear such as the guy next door riding his honey like a jet ski all night long. The room had an obnoxious musty/moldy smell that we couldn't get rid of. This is no ordinary stench, this is the kind of stank that has a life of its own. Super 8 will most likely need a priest to perform an exorcism to get rid of this stink.
The guy who checked us in was super nice. The lady who checked us out was also super nice. The room was spacious for being a one bed room.
