I am not here to bad mouth the company. I am just here to give a play by play or how the experience went and I will let you decide if they seem like a company that you would like to do business with.
I just wanted to share my experience with Surebuild. I am the first to say that this experience might not be a true reflection of how they do business, but it is my experience and figured it was worth sharing with those who are looking to have roof work done. I called Surebuild in the winter to have them take a look at a roof issue I was having. They came out within a few days and sent me a quote about a week later. I emailed asking for more info and never heard back from them. Spring came and rather than calling another company since getting roofing work done is notoriously difficult I figured I would call them and see if I could continue with the process. I had a guy come out within about a week and he hopped up on the roof and said he would be back to me in a week with a quote. I never heard back so after 2 weeks I called back. He said he would get back to me within a few days. No call so after a week I called back. He had another guy come take a look at the roof. The new guy said that I should continue contacting the original salesman but that he would be sure the wheels were set in motion. There was no word for another week. I called back in. The salesman said he promised he would get back to me within a week and that they were just busy. One week later I called again. He said.."I don't have a good reason for why I didn't call. I just dropped the ball." He said he would call back within a few hours. Sure enough he did and gave me a quote of $700. I said that was great and that I would like to be put on the schedule. He then seemed to get flustered. I think he realized that the quote was not correct. I told him to just put me on the schedule and get back to me if he found that there was an issue with the quote. About a week later I heard from by wife that there was another roofer on the roof unexpectedly. I called in and the guy I had been talking to said that it was in the owners hands and that i just need to wait to hear from him. After a week I wrote an email directly to the owner saying that before writing a poor review online that I was giving them one more chance to remedy the situation. He called within a day and asked me not to write and that he would go look at the roof himself. I got a voice message about a few days later saying that he thought that there was no good fix other than rebuilding the roof but that even if i wanted to get a "bandaid" job done I would have to wait a month because they were busy. He said he was the first to admit that the salesman I was dealing with was not properly educated to diagnose the issue nor give a realistic quote. I was not willing to wait another month on top of the months that I had been waiting so I figured enough was enough and terminated the pursuit of service.
