i started my son here in kindergarten. he was having a hard time adjusting and would act up. they would call someone to come pick him almost everyday. and would sit in the office for hours. The principal mentioned a meeting with their special ed teacher. I was counting on it to help my son. I tried to take my son back to school and she told me he could not come back for a few days. i waited 3 days and did not hear from anyone. they did not set up a meeting as discussed and did nothing to help him. i changed schools and started taking him to a neurologist who suggested that my son has mild autism. They are unprofessional and unexperienced. i would not recommend this school.
The kids in the kindergarten class were alarmingly quiet... Kindergarteners parents are not allowed to stay in the beginning weeks for any length of time and the teacher looked like she was in a bad mood. Acme Pizza was to be served EVERY DAY to kids who did not bring lunch. When I visited the 1st grade class it was dark and all the kids were laying down meditating. The 3rd class room smelled like vicks vapor rub and BO and all the kids were dancing half-heartedly. It was very strange to me that I could not find one drawing or any other form of art from the children hanging on the walls. The only excitement that I saw from this visit was kids marching in a circle for excercise outside. The schooling seems to be very unstructured and the Executive Director made a comment about how there is not much study unless there is testing coming up. The entire school needs updated. I would definately NOT recommend.
