I would give them 5 stars but the rental pick up location is about a 1 hr. ride from most of the trails by Sedona. There are some trails closer to cottonwood but we wanted to go to the red rock area. Also, the trail that they recommended was closed. They did have a good map and instructions. However, if you are not able to read a map and navigate, this may not be for you. The staff was patient and friendly. They gave us an extra 1/2 hr. on our check out time. The 4 hr. ride was a blast. I could have done 8 hrs.
What a blast!!! Equipment was awesome, service excellent and the 2 hour trip up and back from Black Mountain was breathtaking. Thank you Vortex Healing ATV!
Easter Sunday Nancy and I rented a 2 seater ATV from Vortex Healing ATV...what a blast!!! First, they were so friendly. They provide great maps with pictures, a cooler with cold water and all the protective gear you need. We got great instructions on how to drive the ATV and off we went to Shaman's Cave. We had the ATV for 4 hours which was great! We drove the trails to the parking area and then hiked to the Cave. We had a nice picnic under the trees. The wildflowers were in full bloom in yellow, purple, orange and white. It was so quiet and peaceful. And riding the trails was so fun! So even at 65 years old you can still get out and boogie the trails. I highly recommend doing this. They have many trails to choose from. Next time I am going to do the Verde River trail.
A group of friends and i spent half a day riding ATVs with Vortex Healing ATV Rental and it was amazing! We didn't have any issues and the drive was memorable! The staff were very kind and helpful with organizing everything for us and for that I am grateful. I have never driven an ATV, but now I can't wait to go back again in the Spring! For a new and upcoming company, they are awesome!
I thought I would be tired after riding an ATV and this was my main reason that I didn't attempt to try one. However that wasn't true. Last weekend, my friends almost dragged me to go out to Bill Gray dirt road and rode up to Black mountain with a rental ATV... one of my friends told me to try to feel my bottom of feet while riding. After doing it, I didn't feel tired but even more energized!!! Is it because of the vibration from dirt road? I felt I loosened up lots of holding tensions from my body. It was an amazing experience. Also how can I dare to climb Black mountain with a vehicle?! Yes it is possible with ATV! I highly recommend this ATV place to everyone especially who wants to experience a different aspect of ATV riding.
