...........................................................................................................................

I have been here (even when it was the Verde Valley Guidance Clinic over by the little, old Marcus J. Lawrence Hospital!) several times over the years, but I moved a lot, so I wasn't very consistent. I am more settled and consistent now. Every single time I have been here over the years, the experience has been positive. I've always been treated with dignity and respect. Maybe because I treat others the same way. I have NOTHING negative to say at all!

This place stinks.... Poor communication between providers often causes many problems. From medication errors and poor record keeping and verbal abuse from some of the staff, the problems never end. Arizona rates among the very lowest states in the nation for mental healthcare and the services at Spectrum often reflect it. All I can count on that's consistent is the inconstancy in care. I'm sure they help a lot of people but I'm not one of them nor am I an exception. Don't hesitate to use the Grievance Process if you are having a lot of trouble and they don't take care of it. IT'S YOUR RIGHT !! It's explained in the "Health Choice Integrated Care" handbook which is rarely, if ever, in the bins near the counters. Please Ask For One - What you and they are responsible for is in the book. The better you are informed, the better your results can be. Good luck.

about the patient on the other end of the phone. Rehearsed answers given. I have never left a bad review for anyone but in this case feel it is important for perspective clients.

There are good days and bad. I have had decent service here depending on the week. In the past, when a doctor says they want to see you back in a certain time frame the front desk sets up that appt then.... no longer is this available, nor do you get a call for a reminder. As a mother of a child with ADHD, working full time and a family, let me tell you it's difficult to pause time out of your day to remember (2 weeks BEFORE the time frame the dr wants to see you next) to set up the next visit. But what makes it worse is when you can't call to set it up because "the schedule isn't available yet.." then it's like pulling teeth to get in. After that, I'm left with my son running out of his medication because there is only one doctor available to help with children's meds???? I can attempt for a walk-in but it always seems to be in another town and I risk the doctor leaving early... There are some serious scheduling problems here, and the policies make it difficult for parents to refill prescriptions. exp, My son has to be present, and even though there is a current appointment for the following week, I can not refill his meds before the appointment...

Sooooo, the review:

I totally agree with the last poster. Never in my life have I had worse patient service. Everyone passing the buck. Issues with Psych and Medical sides. No one returns phone calls. No one seems to care

I recommend Midol.

* Because you get what you GIVE in most cases *.

Who else is tired of whining, "entitled" people who think that no matter how they act, the world owes them something special.

I wonder if the people who left rotten reviews just happen to have skewed perception, or they present themselves in a negative way, or they're not respectful in the first place.

I give them three stars, because all I do is get medication.

- Things don't always go your way, so try to realize that to the best of your ability. As a rule, no one is out to get you unless you've given them A REASON! Look for the positive things and stop looking for, or even making up reasons to WHINE. Some people are just NEVER HAPPY.
